The children and young people of the "A Gaivota" shelter were invited to enjoy a day at the "Badoca Safari Park", located in the Alentejo, in Vila Nova de Santo André. Between the plains and the sea, the park currently has around 600 animals, with a total of more than 80 different species.

This activity took place on August 24, 2023, in which the children had the opportunity to take part in a guided safari. Along the way, they were able to observe and learn about the animal species, with giraffes being the animal that most attracted the attention of the children/young people.

 

The visit included various activities, walks and animal presentations, allowing them to spend a day - a full one! - in contact with nature and animals.
