he Mental Gym project of the Vila Real de Santo António Delegation was awarded in the 2025 edition of the BPI | Fundação “la Caixa” Seniors Award, an initiative that recognizes programs dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of the senior population.

This distinction reinforces the social impact of the Portuguese Red Cross and guarantees support to expand the work developed with people over 65 years of age.

This project will begin next year and once again counts on the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António as a privileged partner.
