The UMDR Tavira users took advantage of the Mediterranean Diet Fair's motto and "got to work".
Medium Term and Rehabilitation Unit
Olive soaps were made in the shape of a heart. The olive is one of the main foods of the Mediterranean diet, and this in turn aims to highlight and promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
The heart shape was symbolically designed to remind us how we should also take care of this organ of ours and the impact that a balanced diet as well as a healthy lifestyle can have on our health and well-being.
This activity promoted reflection, put everyone's creativity and imagination to the test, and stimulated the fine motor skills of our users.
