The presentations of the final results of the Rehabilitating for Life Project" took place on September 5th and 6th in the municipalities of Alcoutim, Castro Marim, and Tavira.

This project was created under the Partnerships for Impact, and was co-financed by CRESC ALGARVE 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Social Fund, starting its activity on October 1, 2019 and expected to end on September 30, 2022.

 

It had the support of Social Investors, namely the Municipality of Alcoutim, Castro Marim and Tavira. The monitoring of the results was the responsibility of the University of Algarve, through Professor Sandra Pais.

 

Throughout these 3 years, the project "Rehabilitate for life" contributed to the promotion and improvement of the quality of life of seniors in these three municipalities, enhancing their active aging. The proposed objectives were achieved, having exceeded the goal of participants despite the constraints resulting from the pandemic context. Given the goals achieved and exceeded, it was unanimous the continuation of this project, having already been confirmed by two of the three municipalities, its continuation.

 

The results presentation session was attended by representatives of the respective municipalities and project participants who also took the opportunity to thank the moments of conviviality, sharing and affection provided during the project.
