The Integrated Support Centre for Children "A Gaivota" is composed of 3 social responses: Nursery, pre-school (which constitute the Children's Centre) and a Shelter.

Reception House

This social response is fundamentally based on ensuring the immediate reception of children in situations of danger, providing conditions for the definition of their life project and appropriate referral.
The intervention is centred on the child, in a global and multidisciplinary perspective, trying to provide an environment as similar as possible to the family model.
Capacity for 20 children of both sexes from a preferably district geographical area.
It has a Technical Team composed of 4 elements, 1 teacher seconded from the School Grouping of the residential area, 8 educational assistants, 1 administrative and 2 cleaning assistants.
Opening hours: 24h/day
