Transport of Patients
It performs other types of services, such as transport for non-urgent patients in the Algarve region
and also on long hauls (Faro – Lisbon), it transports patients to physiotherapy clinics, hemodialysis, hospitals and the transportation of children in the municipality, who need adapted transport to schools.
Consisting of:
- Local Emergency Coordinator
- Adj. of Coordinator
- Team Leader - Logistics and a Team Leader - Planning
- Over twenty ambulance crew members, Drivers and First Aiders (TAT/TAS).
The EU has a type B rescue ambulance (112 INEM) that provides service when requested;
Several Type VDTD Ambulances (Vehicles dedicated to patient transport), A1, A2 and B;
